Dynapac expands the soil compactor portfolio with the introduction of three new Rhino models CA55-65-70

Dynapac, a global leader in road construction and compaction equipment, is proud to unveil its latest innovations in the field of soil compaction – Rhino CA55-65-70 Soil Compactors. Three models in the 18-, 20- & 22-tons weight classes are built for enhanced performance, operator experience & efficient operation that help minimize running costs.

These new models are an addition to the current Rhino offering that includes the CA15-25-30-35 models in the 6 to 12-tons weight classes. From road construction and airfields to dam projects and industrial developments, the Rhino series ensures uncompromising compaction results, guaranteeing the stability and durability of every project.

ENHANCED PERFORMANCE & EFFICIENCY

Equipped with the powerful CUMMINS engine, the Rhino series offers a combination of power and reliability that maximizes uptime. With three emission type engine options (II/Tier2, IIA/Tier 3, China Stage 4), all featuring six cylinders, water cooled & turbocharged configuration, the Rhino compactors deliver a robust performance. With a rated power of 154kW the new models feature an engine that is up to 25% more powerful than the previous generation. These engines also prioritize fuel efficiency and reduce the CO2 footprint, exemplifying Dynapac’s commitment to sustainability.

ENHANCED VISIBILITY

The Rhino CA55-65-70 ensure operators maintain a clear view of both the working area and surroundings. The new operator station design comes with a 35% increase in glass area. The sloping engine hood, coupled with the visibility of the front beam from the operator’s station, empowers operators to stay in full control of the machine.

ENHANCED COMFORT

The Rhino series features a swivel seat that rotates up to 60° to the right, for an ergonomic working posture and enhanced operator's line of sight. Four powerful LED working lights, mounted on the ROPS / Cab as standard, illuminate the work area at night.

The Rhino CA55-65-70 are designed with user-friendly HMI interfaces, ensuring operators quickly learn how to operate the machines. Quick start-up guides facilitate a seamless transition, even when switching between different machines within the Dynapac range.

REAL-TIME COMPACTION CONTROL

The Dynapac Compaction Meter (DCM), helps you secure high-quality compaction results by monitoring the compaction meter values to ensure a homogenously compacted surface without weak spots. Smart technology features a sensor that measures the stiffness of the ground. Fuel savings of up to 25% can be achieved with the help of the DCM. Consequently, fuel emission can be reduced by up to 25%.

ENHANCED SERVICEABILITY

Maintenance and service are made hassle-free with the Rhino series. The engine compartment provides exceptional access to routine service and maintenance points, while the hydraulic pumps, fully serviceable from ground level, ensure minimal downtime. Changing filters and refilling fluids is a breeze, also conveniently accessible from ground level. Dyn@link telematics system helps you better plan the service & maintenance, saving time and money.
